TERMS & CONDITIONS OF HIRE
When you make a booking via the website, email, social media, telephone and text with Bouncy Boss, you are agreeing to this disclaimer and our full terms of hire.
Deposit
We require a £20 deposit for every booking that is made with us. This £20 will secure the items in your booking and will make your selection of product unavailable to other customers. This is to secure the item for your event. The deposit is required at time of booking. If the deposit is not paid we have the right to cancel the booking and make the items available for others to book. We will make every effort to contact you before doing so on the details that you have provided.
The deposit is deducted from your final balance and is non-refundable. However we do understand that sometimes a cancellation is unavoidable and will therefore offer a credit note to the value of the fee, to be used within 12 months from the date of cancellation. This credit is only issued if we are informed of said cancellation with at least 30 days notice, by email. Cancellation within the 30 day period will result in the total loss of deposit and credit not being issued.
If your booking with us is due to be outdoors and weather conditions create health and safety issues we reserve the right to cancel your booking. Safety comes first, we know this will cause disappointment however will will not allow injuries to be caused due to negligence. If we do need to cancel your booking then the deposit can be transferred to another date within 12 months of the original hire date.
A form of photo identification is required upon delivery.
Payment Options
Payment can be made in full when booking. If you opt to pay the deposit only your payment is due on or before delivery and prior to set up. Payment can be taken on the day by cash or bank transfer card (2% fee b2b), or if before the date, payments can be taken over the phone. Please ensure that you have the ability to pay on delivery, we reserve the right to delay the set up should payment not be available.
Payment instalments can be made in order to make your party more affordable but the full balance must be paid prior to or on the delivery date.
Cancellation Policy
We understand that sometimes you have to cancel a party or event. This may be due to illness or a change in circumstances. We ask for as much notice as possible should you wish to cancel so that we can make the items available for others to hire. Although we are unable to refund your deposit we are able to transfer your deposit to another date within 12 months of the original hire date if the cancellation is made within 14 days.
If the customer wishes to cancel due to bad weather then again we ask that we can have as much notice as possible, we understand that this may be on the day at the last minute, we do incur costs and time when it comes to loading and delivering and the fact the item has been made unavailable to others for this reason the full outstanding balance will be requested on all cancellations within 14 days of the party. Please contact us on 07377166702 asap. We also reserve the right to cancel due to high winds or heavy rain as not only would it be unsafe not to, it would also be illegal.
Important note regarding cancellations
It is the hirer’s responsibility to check the sizes and measurements of the required space for the items they hire. It is also the hirer’s responsibility to check that the venue allow the equipment that they have booked. If we arrive to set up and we are refused entry or we deem it unsafe to erect the products then we will require 100% of the final balance (minus the deposit) to cover the costs we have incurred. If payment is not made on the day then an invoice will be sent and payment will be expected within 7 days. All of the products sizes are on the product descriptions, if you have any questions then please call us on 07377166702. Change of booking
Should you wish to change your booking to items of lesser value within 14days of the celebration then the same policy as above applies and this will be considered a cancellation, you will be requested to rebook the new items. This is due to the products of higher value being made unavailable to others to book.
Safety Policy:
Due to health and safety regulations set, we can not hire our equipment out side if the winds/gusts are/due to be over 24 mph. I hope you fully understand we take yours/others safety very seriously. Do not use any inflatable in high winds, turn off and check wind speed going near or over 24 mph.
Safety is our number one priority. We are trained in the safe use of inflatables, health and safety legislation and also risk management. Our decision is final!
- Equipment will be disinfected following set up to give you peace of mind that all of our equipment is clean and safe to use.
- All equipment is tested to a high standard as per requirements.
- All of our equipment is visually inspected regularly for defects.
- Equipment will be cleaned on return to eliminate any risk of the coronavirus on our products.
In the event of bouncy boss cancelling due to the weather conditions we will move the deposit to another date of the hirers choosing.
Bouncy Boss - Bouncy Castle and Soft Play hire agreement
It is the responsibility of the customer (hirer) to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the inflatable. Please ensure that the following safety instruction are followed:
- A responsible adult (18+) must supervise inflatables at all times when in use.
- Any soft play and/or other equipment hired must also be supervised by a responsible adult.
- Inflatable Equipment will be fully secured to the ground at all times during use as per manufactures recommendations.
- No food, drinks or chewing gum to be allowed on the inflatable / equipment.
- All shoes, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the inflatables / equipment to avoid damage to the equipment and injury to other users.
- Ensure that the equipment is not overcrowded and limit numbers depending on the age and size of children using it according to the recommendations printed on the equipment.
- No party-poppers, coloured streamers, silly string, face paint, food colouring, confetti, henna, glitter or any products containing dye are to be used near or on the inflatable / equipment as they can and will permanently stain the unit. You will become financially liable for any permanent damage caused to any equipment.
- No pets, toys or sharp instruments are allowed on the inflatable / equipment.
- No water or other liquid to be poured or sprayed onto the equipment as it caused the inflatable to become slippery, damages soft play, and can result in subsequent bookings being cancelled if they equipment is to wet to be delivered.
- In winds of speeds of 24mph+ the inflatable(s) must be switched off and not inflated until the wind speeds decrease. If strong winds of heavy rain is forecast we will not set up the equipment if we believe it to be unsafe.
- No smoking or barbeques near or within an unsafe distance of the inflatables / equipment.
- Always ensure children are not pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure or cause distress to others.
- Avoid large and small children from using it at the same time.
- Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and must not be allowed.
- Children must use slides one at a time and must not climb on the side of the slides.
- Slides should be used in a sitting position, feet first – do not allow jumping from the top of the slide.
- Safety mats must be positioned at the bottom of the slide
- Ensure that the area around the unit is completely clear at all times and the mats remain where they are placed.
- Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step.
- Ensure that no one with a history of back or neck problems or any medical condition which could reasonably be aggravated by using the equipment or pregnant is allowed on the inflatable / equipment.
- Do not allow anyone on the Equipment during inflation or deflation.
- Do not allow Children & Adults on the inflatable at the same time unless for the sole purpose of assisting a child.
- Please ensure that participants are not attempting somersaults and are clothed appropriately long sleeves and trousers are advised with nothing in their pockets, this will help prevent minor abrasions caused by friction.
- Do not allow children around the back of the inflatable unsupervised.
- In the event of rain please keep the bouncy castle blown up until we collect the bouncy castle.
- In the event the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately.
- No person or persons under the influence of alcohol and/or prescribed and/or non-prescribed drugs and/or any other intoxicating substance will use or supervise the equipment.
- By signing this disclaimer, you agree to allow us to access your property/venue to collect the product(s).
- When transporting through homes we cannot be held responsible for any damages or losses to property or grounds including pipes, cables and drains.
- Any incidents of damages or injuries must be reported to us immediately.
- A cleaning charge is applicable if the equipment is returned in a dirty state.
- Any injuries sustained whilst using our equipment must be reported to the driver on collection, where an accident form will be completed. Accident forms will not be completed after the driver has collected the equipment and left the premises.
Please note that all persons using our equipment do so at their own risk. The person/organisation hiring the equipment will be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use. These guidelines are for the safety of all people using the equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are adhered to. Bouncy Boss cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.
Equipment will be delivered in a good clean condition and you agree to abide by the terms and conditions listed above and return the equipment in the same condition it was received in. (Please note if the inflatable is collected in a dirty condition, then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning charge from £50.00 depending on unit hired.) Please return balls to the bags provided before collection or a £25.00 charge will be applied.
In summary -
We will not be held responsible for any injury sustained on any of our products and if there are any injuries this should be reported to us immediately on 07377166702.
The items hired should be collected in the same state that they were delivered in. You will be liable for the full value of the unit/s hired should permanent damage be caused that is beyond repair, this includes stains caused to the unit that cannot be removed through an enhanced clean.
We reserve the right to cancel your booking should we deem it unsafe to supply to the designated location, or there has been any information withheld from the booking such as access issues or suitable/safe ground and also if we feel that there would be a health and safety issue arise from the hire.
Our terms and conditions are not only to protect us as a company and our products but also you as a customer, your children’s safety and also your property.
